Hello again friends and family… sorry for not posting sooner… I did not mean to worry you.
We have been home now for a week… it is sooooo good to be home. We left China on November 16th… the trip was long, but the food was good…. it was a smooth ride. Before leaving China I had another EMG, which the doctor did say it showed a little improvement. I also had another lung function test which also showed minor improvement. Now we continue the therapies learned and hope that the progression has stopped. I would like to thank each and every one of you that has been there supporting and praying for me, my wife, Gabriela, and our children. Your support and caring has been overwhelming and exceptional. Words can not express my gratitude. Thank you to all!
Lots of love, Lyle
Glad your home safe and sound, buddy. Please keep us up to date on how you’re feelin’ and what your lovely wife and awesome kids are up to. So glad you made the trip and really happy we could help out in any small way we could. I really mean it when I say “You Rock!”. Great idea with this blog doohickey and I feel like we were in the loop the whole time.

Dear Lyle (and Family),
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Wondering what they did in surgery? Also think it’s great they are treating other ALS patients as well. My mom lost her battle with ALS after struggling with it for 7 years. Unfortunately, we did not know of any treatments that were available except for some experimental medications that were stopped once Mom was put on a respirator. Hang in there dude! This is encouraging to hear about and even though I don’t know you, it makes me happy to know you guys are fighting it with all you’ve got.
Peace,
Rita
It was great to talk to you today, buddy. Keep us posted on how everything is going…. we are ALL pulling for you!
